Privacy Policy

Your Privacy, Our Priority

We built Toolkit on a simple principle: your files never leave your browser. This policy explains what little data we do handle and exactly how we treat it.

Our Core Privacy Promise

Files you process on Toolkit (PDFs, images, videos, audio, etc.) are processed 100% in your browser. We never receive, store, or transmit your files. Zero servers. Zero uploads. Zero compromise.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

When you contact us via our Contact page or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and any message content you voluntarily submit. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry.

Automatically Collected Information

We may collect anonymous analytics data including page views, browser type, country of origin, and referral source. This data is aggregated and never linked to a personally identifiable individual.

Files & Media You Process

All file processing (PDF, image, video, audio, etc.) is performed entirely in your browser using client-side Web APIs. Your files are NEVER uploaded to our servers, stored, or transmitted over the network. We have zero access to any files you process.

2. How We Use Your Information

Service Provision

Contact details are used exclusively to respond to support requests and improve our tools. We do not use this data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

Analytics & Improvement

Aggregated, anonymized usage data helps us understand which tools are most useful and where to focus our development efforts. No personal profiles are built from this data.

3. Data Storage & Security

Local Processing

Toolkit is built on the principle of local-first processing. Files you process through our tools are handled entirely by your device's browser — no file content is ever transmitted to or stored on Toolkit servers.

Contact Data Security

Any contact information you provide is stored on secure, encrypted servers with access restricted to Toolkit team members. We retain contact records for a maximum of 12 months unless you request earlier deletion.

4. Cookies & Tracking

Essential Cookies

We use minimal essential cookies to maintain site functionality. These do not track personal information and are required for the site to operate correctly.

Analytics Cookies

We may use privacy-respecting analytics (such as Plausible Analytics or similar) that do not use cross-site tracking cookies. You can opt out of analytics tracking at any time by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser settings.

5. Third-Party Services

Social Media Downloader Tools

Our Social Downloader tools use the Cobalt.tools public API to process media URLs. When you use these tools, your requested URL is sent to the Cobalt API. Please review Cobalt's privacy policy at cobalt.tools for their data handling practices.

External Links

Our site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and recommend reviewing their privacy policies.

6. Your Rights

Access & Deletion

You have the right to request access to any personal data we hold about you and to request its deletion. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@tools-kit.tech.

GDPR & CCPA

If you are a resident of the European Union or California, you have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA respectively, including the right to data portability and the right to object to processing.
